Special needs boy, pfft.
I am the happiest little fella in the world, but I do need a home that can understand the commitment it will take to train me. The vets have said that I am deaf; whatever that means and they have said that I may be blind in one eye as well. But this doesn't stop me being happy, cheeky and loving to anyone who has hands and love to give.
I am great with other dogs,and will NEED a home with another dog that is stable and friendly plus social with others of course. I am also great with cats and have met 5 cats ranging in age in foster care.
I am young enough to adapt to a home with kids, but due to my special needs requirements a home with kids over 7-10 would be best suited to make sure I get some stable training and structure in my life.
I will suit a home with nice and secure fencing, of at least 5ft or over but I will also suit rural fencing as long as the correct training is given to me at such a young age. I am also young enough to adapt to a home where there are other animals such as poultry and livestock.
I don't know how big I will be, but my foster parents say between 30-40 kilos is to be expected so a home that understands this is essential.
I have been hand raised from 2 days old, so people are a breeze for me to love. I am ready to go to my new home as well, and my adoption fee is $400 which will include my microchip, first vaccination, par vac vaccination, regular flea and worm treatments and also my desexing when I am of an appropriate age (5-6 months old). I am located in the hunter region near a town called Gresford.
Adoption details
In the ENQUIRY SECTION please explain in LENGTH some basics about yourself/ your life/ your household and what type of life you can provide for one of our rescue animals.
If successful, you would be contacted by phone, where we will talk about your enquiry and potentially organise a meet and greet between you/ your dogs/ your family and the potential candidate
From there, you can either take your animal with you if the meet and greet was successful and their vet work has been completed- or if the vet work hasn't been completed, you must wait until it's finished before taking your new friend home which will be organised between yourself and the foster carer.
Every animal has a 2 week trial period.
