About Mia *On Trial in Her New Home*
*MIA IS CURRENTLY TRIALING HER NEW HOME - NO MORE ENQUIRIES/APPLICATIONS PLEASE* Miss Mia turns 1 on 17 February and we reckon her birthday wish would be to celebrate it in her forever home which would have a playful dog for company; can you help make Mia’s wish come true???
Mia is a lovable dog with a beautiful nature who greets her foster carer with excitement and loves big cuddles and kisses! She really enjoys the company of other dogs (hence why she wants a home with one), and likes to spend her day playing with her foster brother and sister – Mia is always up for a game of tug-o-war with one of them! This cheeky girl will steal toys from the other dogs just to entice them into playing with her.
While in foster care clever Mia has learnt to sit on command and to wait before eating her dinner. She knows her name and has good recall as well as being really good on a lead – she prefers a harness, and starts out strong but soon settles down and enjoys getting out and about. She also enjoys a game of fetch and will bring the ball back every time. Being a Labrador x Dalmation she’ll need regular exercise so she doesn’t get bored and up to mischief. She does jump up a bit when excited though is getting the hang of the “down” command. And of course Mia LOVES treats so this will help with any further training you’d like to do with her.
Adorable Mia is housetrained and uses her foster carer’s doggie door to enjoy an indoor / outdoor which we’d want to see continued in her forever home – she sleeps inside on a dog bed.

Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
