Pugsley would fit well into a family with children, who like to take him for walks and to throw balls for exercise. I believe that he will take well to training given the proper program and dedication by his adopted family. As a 2.5 year old, he still has a lot of energy but in a positive way. When we get him excited he runs around and loves being the centre of attention. He is certainly a family dog who loves groups, attention, pats and love. He is very affectionate and will lick your leg as he walks past you. He even tried licking our cat's nose which nearly ended in tears for Pugsley.

Pugsley loves being with people in general and when he has met new people he just wants a big hug. On Boxing Day we had 15 people at our place and he was in heaven! He really enjoys sitting with people and being a part of the group.

He can cry initially on being left alone but settles down after. He is very good motivated and has been very quick to learn basic commands.
