Meet the beautiful (but camera shy) Caramel Mud Cake. She came to the rescue with yesterday's featured mummy cat Red Velvet Cake. Caramel had four kittens before coming to us, but by the time she was rescued, her five-week-old babies had been taken away from her. She was amazing though, as she would help feed and look after Red Velvet's babies.
Caramel Mud Cake has a beautiful temperament. She is sweet and affectionate and a great talker! She will reward a patient and caring owner with her loving nature. However, she can be distrustful, which is evidence of her difficult past, so her human companion must be able to 'read the signs' to help her feel safe and comfortable. A quieter home may be best.
The is a beautiful dark grey torti. Our apologies for the photos, she is a little camera shy.

Adoption details
All our cats and kittens are:
* desexed,
* micro-chipped,
* vaccinated and
* worm and flea treated.
ADOPTION QUESTIONNAIRE
We ask that you complete an Adoption Questionnaire before we make arrangements for you to meet a cat or kitten. This is to ensure that we find the best possible match for you and the cats/kittens in our care.
PROCEDURE
1. Please send an e-mail to: 2ndchancecatrescuevic@gmail.com
2. You will be e-mailed our Adoption Questionnaire
3. Complete the Adoption Questionnaire and send (e-mail) back to us.
4. If your application is successful, we will contact you to arrange a meet and greet.
If the adoption is going ahead, we ask that you pay on the day of adoption the fee as stated on the cat's profile .
Please note that we only accept cash.
We hand over a signed Change of Ownership form which you will need to send to the Microchip company after the two week trial period has expired.
PLEASE BE PATIENT
2nd Chance Cat Rescue is a home-based rescue group and most of our volunteers are working full-time so we hope that you understand that it may take 1-2 days to get back to you.
