About Teddy
Please say hi to Teddy.
Teddy is looking for a home that can see past his gorgeous looks and offer him the love and patience he will need to adjust and settle into his new home.
Teddy and his siblings had very little to no human interaction before they came into our care. They have been in very loving foster homes where they have been given lots of time to gain confidence and trust in people and learn to become a part of a loving family.
These pups have been sharing their days with a confident dog who has helped in their development and teaching them what life is all about. It will be very important for Teddy to find a home with a desexed mature and confident dog of similar size to help him continue gaining his own independence. For this reason a home without another dog will not be considered! He is very unsure of large dogs so will be looking for a dog of similar breed and size.
Obedience training will be a must for Teddy to help him continue with his socialising and understanding of what is expected from him. A strong leader will be great for him to show him he will be looked after and will be rewarded for taking on new challenges.
Teddy's foster carer takes him for walks to the local park every day where he gets to see new dogs and people. He isn't sure when meeting new people but will watch the other dogs and in time is attempting to interact with the smaller dogs. Teddy walks well on lead and his recall is improving all the time.
We will be looking for a home where Teddy will be a very important part of the family. Welcomed indoors to spend lots of time with his people and offered a warm bed indoors where he will feel safe and secure each night. Teddy is fully toilet trained and will hang on till morning.
Considering he will be unsure about his new environment we would prefer a home with no young children as he will find them quite over whelming and unpredictable. A home with children 12+ would be a better match for him.
If you have read Teddy's profile and believe you can offer him the wonderful future he deserves we look forward to hearing from you
Teddy is currently in Bentleigh East
Medical notes
Teddy has been desexed, microchipped and vaccinated. He has also received regular flea and worm treatment
Adoption details
If you think one of our animals would be a good match for your home please email us and we will be in touch shortly after. We all work fulltime, have families and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require any other dogs in your home meeting our foster animal before they head home with you. This enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care, this is a condition of our Adoptions.
