Hiya, My name is Lumi and I'm an excitable, energetic cattle dog X puppy! Foster Ma calls me "Lil Cutee" Me and my bro's came into care at 2 days old as we lost our mummy. I live in a foster home with a big foster brother and sister who have been teaching me good doggie manners.
Foster Ma says I'm a happy and playful young boy, who is a little shy but I am very loving and will be very loyal. I love playing with tug toys and rolling around in the grass, BUT most of all I love my foster fur siblings and following them everywhere ❤ Cuddles are also a favourite of mine.
I'm told I'm very bootiful, clever and an active boy as I love to explore new things, I am crate trained and sleep quietly in there until it is time to get up - (I have even been known to let foster Ma have a sleep in on the weekends providing I get an early toilet break). My training is also underway, I can sit, wait to eat my food and can drop and I'm learning to walk more on the lead but I'm still only young so lots of learning still to go.
I'm looking for my very own forever home now! A home who understands the mental and physical stimulation needs of my breed, and who is committed to continuing my training and lots of socialisation is a must as I just loooove other doggies & meeting new people
I would thrive in a home with another doggy sibling to play with, as I just love to play and will needs lots of daily exercise and games to keep my clever mind occupied so I don't get up to mischief! If this sounds like you, please apply today!

Completing this application form does not place you under any obligation to adopt.
Safe Haven Animal Rescue Inc have a 10 day trial/settling period, if for any reason the pet needs to be returned, we will happily take them back into our care once a foster home is found and the adoption fee minus $50 (admin fee) will be returned via bank transfer within 5 working days. If the pet is returned after the trial period there will be no refund made.
Harvey Dog Training supports SHARI and has kindly offered to provide our adopted animals 30% off training/obedience classes. If you are keen to enrol your new puppy/dog please mention this in your email to us!
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption application MUST be filled out prior to the meet and greet with the animal.
2. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place. You must bring your current dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption. If meeting a cat we do not recommend brining your current dog/cat as this may stress the cat/kitten out.
3. The animal MUST not be taken on the day unless PRIOR ARRANGED (travelling over a 2 hr round trip), we will NOT ACCEPT the animal to be taken on the day if less then 2 days notice is given. If prior arrangement is made, an adoption agreement/s and payment must be made before collection of the animal.
4. The 10 day trial period commences once the animal is collected.
5. Adoption is finalised after 14 days and paperwork is sent via email.
