About Clancy ~ Cattle Dog x
Clancy: 5 month old Cattle Dog x. What an adorable and loving boy our little Clancy is!
Clancy is a stunning little boy with a lovely and loving nature. After a bit of a rough start to life and looking younger than his three months due to being malnourished, Clancy is working to reach his ideal weight. Clancy is one little boy with a larger than life appetite.
Being very food motivated, Clancy is going to be quite easy to train. He already knows his name and the word, ‘Come’ and is learning to sit. Toilet training is a work in progress, however, he is learning to go to the door when she he needs to, especially first thing in the morning.
Clancy gets along well with his sister, Honey, who was surrendered at the same time, and his two (much larger) foster sisters. Cats, rabbits and other small animals are an unknown. Clancy’s father is a Bull Arab and his mother is a Cattle Dog. Neither parent is very large so we are predicting that Clancy will be more Cattle Dog size.
With his smooth coat that can easily be cared for with just a bath and the occasional brushing, Clancy is very low maintenance. Clancy would be happy as an only dog given plenty of love, attention and exercise, but wouldn’t mind sharing the love with other dogs in the home.
If you feel you can provide this deserving dog a loving, permanent home, please contact Nora on 0418 402 150 or email dogrescuemudgee@gmail.com. Clancy is in foster care in Mudgee, NSW.
Recently surrendered to Dog Rescue Mudgee, Clancy is looking for a permanent home.
Clancy will be de-sexed when he is old enough, vaccinated, free of fleas and worms and microchipped. His adoption fee is $300.
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
