About Honey
Honey: 3 month old Cattle Dog x
Who could resist that gorgeous face?
Honey is a stunning little girl with a lovely nature. After a bit of a rough start to life and looking younger than her three months due to being malnourished, Honey is working to reach her ideal weight. Honey is one little girl with a larger than life appetite.
Being very food motivated, Honey is going to be quite easy to train. She already knows her name and the word, ‘Come’ and is learning to sit. Toilet training is a work in progress, however, she is learning to go to the door when she needs to, especially first thing in the morning.
Honey gets along well with her brother, Clancy, who was surrendered at the same time, and her two (much larger) foster sisters. Cats, rabbits and other small animals are an unknown. Honey’s father is a Bull Arab and her mother is a Cattle Dog. Neither parent is very large so we are predicting that Honey will be more Cattle Dog size.
With her smooth coat that can easily be cared for with just a bath and the occasional brushing, Honey is very low maintenance. Honey would be happy as an only dog given plenty of love, attention and exercise, but wouldn’t mind sharing the love with other dogs in the home.
If you feel you can provide this deserving dog a loving, permanent home, please contact Nora on 0418 402 150 or email dogrescuemudgee@gmail.com. Honey is in foster care in Mudgee, NSW.
Recently surrendered to Dog Rescue Mudgee, Honey is looking for a permanent home.
Honey will be de-sexed when she is old enough, vaccinated, free of fleas and worms and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $300.
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
