Peppi

Hi there my name is Peppi.
I am 4 years old and I have a very strong little personality.
I am a loyal little fella that unfortunately lost my older gentleman friend.

I have so much love to give to some other special person, I say person as I definitely take to one person with my whole heart.

I would be best suited to a single person or an older couple who have a slower, quieter lifestyle. I am afraid of new people and if they rush at me I will growl and even snap at them (A warning snap not a hard, break the skin type bite) I do warm up to others but in my own time.

I wouldn't be suitable for a house with young children (Under 12)

At my previous home I was toilet trained as my human had a doggy door, at my new home they don't have a doggy door so I rely on them to let me outside after I have a sleep or each hour or so of being inside. I have had a couple of accidents but its because they didn't pay attention to me indicating I needed to go!

I am hanging out with two foster dog friends here, they are medium sized dogs and we get along very well. There are two cats here and I have no interest in them.

All I want is my human companion to take me for walks, pet me, brush me and to nestle into while we watch some tv or have a nap.

My previous gentleman spoilt me rotten, I got way too many doggy treats and human food, so when I was surrendered I was extremely overweight. My foster friends have helped me run and play it off, I am continuing to lose weight to be happy and healthy. I can even jump up onto the couch now! I haven't done that in years.
