About Corvo
This gentle giant is Corvo.
Corvo is a really nice boy who is completely devoted to his people.
He loves human company and will happily be your best friend.
Whilst he has been in our Corvo has shown extreme loyalty to his foster family.
Corvo came to us from a rural pound but we believe he was very well loved in his previous home. He is very well mannered and listens and responds really well when he is given instructions.
This sweet young man loves being inside where he feels like a very important part of the family. He has been great with the children he has met but may be best suited to a home with children 12+. Considering his size and strength he would easily knock over a young child when he is playing/excited. He is very calm when he is indoors and is toilet trained so will happily head outside when he needs to. He would really like a home where he will be offered a bed inside overnight so he can feel safe and secure with his people.
While he has been with us Corvo has been introduced to other dogs. He can get overly excited and pushy which can be a little daunting for other dogs considering his size. A home where Corvo can be on his own will be well suited to him if his family will be home to spend lots of time with him. Considering his breed, he loves being with his people and if he is to be an only dog he will get very lonely being on his own for long periods of time.
We have not had the opportunity to introduce Corvo to cats. Considering his breed and strength Corvo is looking for a home with NO CATS!
Corvo will need a home with high secure fencing to keep him safe. He will easily scale a low fence to go looking for company if he gets lonely so he will be looking for a yard where this can not be an option for him.
A yard with colourbond fencing would be ideal for this beautiful boy.
Corvo is currently going for daily walks to meet new people and receive his regular exercise. He walks very well on lead. A choker chain seems to be the most effective. It is not the restraint we would normally use but he seems accustomed to it and responds well so we believe it is the method he is used to.
He enjoys being out and about and seeing new things. He has been ok with dogs he has met along the way with a slow introduction and under the watchful eye of his carer.
He travels extremely well in the car and enjoys the excitement of heading out for a day trip with his family.
If you would like to offer Corvo the loving he deserves we look forward to hearing from you.
This lovable man will be ready to head to his new home in 2 weeks time
Corvo is currently in Avonsleigh, VIC
Medical notes
Corvo has been desexed, microchipped and vaccinated. He has also received regular flea and worm treatment
Adoption details
If you think one of our animals would be a good match for your home please email us and we will be in touch shortly after. We all work fulltime, have families and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require any other dogs in your home meeting our foster animal before they head home with you. This enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care, this is a condition of our Adoptions.
