Remington

This is one stunning boy! Remington is an absolutely gorgeous looking dog. His silky blue grey coat with cream dappling, big paws, and his soft loving grey eyes are adorable. Remington then also has the personality to match his good looks. He has a beautiful temperament. Remington is soft natured and super affectionate. He follows his foster carer around the house, yard and park, and has the happiest grin and waggiest tail when you come home. Remington loves pats and cuddles, and will happily hop up on the lounge or bed to be close to you if invited. Not many dogs come more loyal then Remington but this does mean that he needs his owners to be around with him most of the time as he can be distressed if they are gone for long periods.

During his time in care, Remington has been well socialised with dogs of all shapes and sizes. He is fantastic with every dog that he meets and is submissive in nature which means that he will not engage in confrontation and will move away from any dog that asks him to give them space. Despite his size Remington still likes to play and romp around. He currently enjoys daily trips to the off lead dog park or beach and you can see the enjoyment on his face as he is free to stretch his legs. Remington will require daily exercise and is perfect off lead so is ideal for going on trips to the dog park or beach.

Remington is progressing well through basic training. He walks lovely on lead, can sit on command and drop for a yummy treat. Remington is crate trained and toilet trained, and has good house manners as he will not get onto or jump on the furniture if you do not invite him. He requires a family who are committed to continuing his training though as he can be a bit scared in new loud or busy environments (e.g. sporting games/fields, heavy traffic, bicycles/motorbikes). Remington would do best with a dog experienced owner who can guide him through new situations and ensure that his fears are not fostered so that he can keep improving.

We are looking for a home where Remington will be a part of the family and where he can be allowed inside to be with everyone. He will require a home where there is someone home most of the time, and where there is another confident, playful dog to provide him with confidence/reassurance and companionship.
