About Callie
Are you looking for a medium size active dog who is great with young children and other dogs? A dog who will enjoy playing ball with the kids and enjoy time with the family? Callie may be just what you're looking for...
Callie is approx 12mths old and we believe she is a Polish Hound. She has a beautiful nature with both people and dogs but definitely not a fan of cats.
Currently she is in foster care with 5 other dogs of all sizes and ages and enjoys playing with the more active ones. A good rumble and ball games is what she enjoys most but also loves the freedom of living both inside and outside with the family. Callie sleeps inside in an open crate and enjoys her own space to rest.
Callie is great with other dogs when introduced correctly and is not a dominant dog, but will stand up for herself when needed. She loves to go for walks with the family and other dogs. Callie is fully toilet trained inside and is gentle around small children.
Whilst she was given a new name when she arrived in care, she is responding extremely well to it and will sit on command. She is a quick learner and has settled in nicely to her foster home so adapting to new environments is an easy task for her.
We would love to see Callie rehomed into an active family who enjoy the outdoors and taking their furry friends along on family outings. She would do well in a home with another dog as she loves to play and socialise with her canine companions as much as she does with her humans. Callie does like to chew, but we are trialing her with mental stimulation games to curb this habit.
Callie is located in Lake Munmorah on the Central Coast, NSW and available for adoption now.

Wally's Doggie Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family.
