Mishka

Meet the lovely Mishka who is now looking for a new home.

This loyal and gentle old style German Shepherd has come into our care after her former owner was placed into a nursing home. The family could not take her in so she was surrendered into an animal shelter. She is now in care at Kurri Kurri and is calm and attentive and social with her fellow rescue dogs.

We can see that Mishka would prefer to be the one and only dog in the home and have the total attention of her human pack. She is best suited to an older couple who will ensure she has the comfort of inclusion in the home and has a gentle walk each day.

Mishka is fully house trained and voice responsive and she knows her commands.

She is probably not suited to a home with pocket pets, small dogs or cats. If you are looking for a loving dog to be a companion for an elderly family member or a mature aged couple seeking the companionship of a loyal shepherd then Mishka fits the bill.
