My world is deeply silent and not as clear and bright as everyone else’s. The first several months of my life I spent entirely outside.
Then one day I went for a car ride and found myself at a new home. I could feel the love and wonderful energy all around me. In my silent world I can startle easily but that is not a problem as my foster family understand completely and know to help me gradually be aware of all the new things around me.
I was wary at first, as this big new world I had entered was a bit overwhelming.
However the foster family I moved in with taught me what it was to feel loved and safe. Like a lovely delicate flower bud, under the sunshine of the love and acceptance of everyone around me, I started to open and blossom and found my true beautiful self.

I am Evie, Goddess of the Moon, exotic flower blossom and cheeky monkey!!!

As Goddess of the Moon I am a girl of mystery and unearthly beauty. I positively glow with my beautiful white coat and hold the secrets of the universe in my ice blue eyes.
As for exotic flower blossom, well just like a beautiful flower I need tender loving care. Indeed I need protection from the sun with my delicate shell pink skin and require sunscreen (mum uses Filta-bac) to maintain my porcelain complexion. I also need plenty of cover from the elements and sun as I will droop in the heat. As a puppy I do tend to be hotter than older dogs so a fan or Air-conditioning will be necessary to help me not to overheat. I like to drink water annndddd sometimes paw at the water in the bucket so mum has had to secure the bucket from tipping over.
Cheeky monkey….well yes because I am a little girl I do still have lots of playful times. I love to play chasey with my foster brother and sister and I will pick up toys and take them one by one to my bed (one cannot have too many toys!!!). I love chewing plastic bottles and playing tug with my humans. It took me a while to learn how to play but I sure have the hang of it now. I am very good at cruising by something at mouth level and just picking it up and continuing to walk. Very sneaky and you will not notice it is missing until you become aware of the SILENCE!!! Definitely beware of the silence…chuckle.
I love going on walks and meeting new people and seeing new things. Of course I do this all gradually and don’t like to be overwhelmed with too many new things or people at once. I am learning to walk on a lead and as a beginner I feel I am doing well. I am not too fond of the car as I get a bit carsick on windy roads. I have not met any cats so I don’t know how I will go meeting them. I really do like having another a dog to play with. Living in a silent world can get very boring.
I do like my treats when I have been good or am doing some training with hand signals. Ohhhhh did I mention that my favourite actress is DORY. Yes I know what you are going to say…she is a fish. However we have very much in common. No I am not blue BUT I am loving and happy and…oh look a butterfly…oh I am very loving and adore cuddles with you on the couch or bed and ……oh look a butterfly!!! Did I mention that my favourite actress is Dory? My training with hand signals is coming along slowly and I do forget things sometimes but when shown enough times I eventually get it.
So if you are a very special person on a wonderful life journey and would like a most special little girl to walk right beside you, sharing your ups and downs then I would love to be that little girl and mark my path through life with my footprints right beside yours. I AM EVIE!!!!
