About Rosie
Rosie is a very intelligent and loving Dutch Shepherd mix female who was surrendered into care after a change of circumstances. She is in foster care with an abundance of dogs ranging in sizes from Australian terriers to great Danes and does well with all. She is also with young kids, chickens in a coop and horses and shows nothing but love to all.
She is very smart so would do great in a household that can fulfil her mental stimulation needs and she is also quite active so an active home is a must. One with another dog would suit her great so she can rumble around and burn extra energy every day. But she may suit an only dog household as long as she stays busy and social.
She would do great in a household with shepherd experience but this isn't essential. A home with secure and safe fencing is a must, at least 5ft but rural fencing is accepted as well as her foster home as such and she does fine with this. We haven't assessed her with cats so we aren't sure how she would act with one but with the correct introductions we are sure she would be fine.
Rosie is located on the central coast and her adoption fee is $400.
Medical notes
Ready to go after the 30th December
Adoption details
In the ENQUIRY SECTION please explain in LENGTH some basics about yourself/ your life/ your household and what type of life you can provide for one of our rescue animals.
If successful, you would be contacted by phone, where we will talk about your enquiry and potentially organise a meet and greet between you/ your dogs/ your family and the potential candidate
From there, you can either take your animal with you if the meet and greet was successful and their vet work has been completed- or if the vet work hasn't been completed, you must wait until it's finished before taking your new friend home which will be organised between yourself and the foster carer.
Every animal has a 2 week trial period.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
