About Rhys
This gentle and somewhat shy male German Shepherd is called Rhys and has come from a local animal shelter into our care.
Rhys came from a market garden property where he was left as a door bell and chained by his former owner. He has come into care not knowing his name or what it is like to be loved and allowed to have inclusion in the home.
We have had him in care now several weeks and this gentle boy is so loving with his foster carer, is now house trained and is very quick to learn. He is still thin but we are working on that and he needs his confidence building, no doubt he was not given any love and just left in a yard with minimal human contact, but he is a quick learner and listens and wants so much to please you.
So Rhys needs a calm home with caring folk who will understand he has not had a good start to life. Animals are very forgiving and this boy once he learns to trust, will be a wonderful companion dog.
Rhys is currently in care with several other rescue dogs both male and female and he has shown no aggression at all. He is voice responsive and will bark if people enter the property to alert you to visitors.
Rhys is in care at Windsor and if you would like to find out more about this gentle boy then please contact Linda.
Medical notes
Rhys is desexed, vaccinaed C5 on heart worm prevention and has been flea treated and wormed.
