About Humphrey (On Trial 28 Apr)
I’m Humphrey (named after Humphrey Bogart), and unless I get busted outta here soon there’s going to be a canine mutiny I tell ya! Being in kennels is all very well but I’m a young hunk of hound that needs to be out exploring life and checking out couches not stuck in this routine! I would do best in a home with a bit of space to stretch my legs, so I would not suit apartment living. I’ve got plenty of charisma and some to spare, and being the friendly personable boy I am would do best with some company. I arrived with some of my siblings and we are all used to being with each other so it would be unfair to go somewhere I would be alone for long periods of time. As I’m just a baby I need someone who can put is some time and has some experience with basic pet manners and training – I’ve never raced at all. I get along with other dogs and people really well but would be best without small dogs or tiny tots due to my size and zest for life. If you think you can break me outta here with an honourable discharge I’d be very grateful!

Adoption details
Once we have found your new greyhound we will send you an application form to complete and return. Then we will arrange a house check. It is important that the right hound goes to the right home! We can arrange for you to meet the dog/s and they can meet your family and/or other pets. Our hounds go “on trial” with your family for a minimum of 2 weeks. We have dogs that are small dog and cat friendly.
We expect greyhounds to be 'indoor dogs' and not left alone for long periods of time. Ideally they would have a doggy or human friend for company most of the time.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
