About Warlock
Are you looking for a calm, sweet natured boy to join your family? Then meet Warlock!
Warlock is a sweet and affectionate pup who loves nothing more than to be in your company. He can often be seen following his foster carer around the house and yard, or snoozing curled up with her on the lounge. Warlock is a low energy kind of guy in the house who displays good house manners. He does like to get up on the lounge for a nap but has learnt to stay off the beds. Warlock is very friendly with all of the people that he meets and greets everyone with a big happy wag of his tail. He is the type of dog who will lean up against you for a pat and is generous with the kisses if you let him!
Warlock enjoys daily trips to the off lead dog park and has been in care with a range of other dogs so is being well socialised. He has become confident at the park with meeting new dogs and once he gets to know other dogs he enjoys playing. Warlock’s favourite game is chasing games and he enjoys stretching his legs. He is very friendly with children that he meets and he will go up to say hi. Warlock is very good with kids and does not jump up. They seem to make him happy to be around. Warlock will end up a large dog when fully grown (at a guess around 30kg) and will require daily exercise and stimulation in order to keep him healthy and happy throughout his life.
During his time in care Warlock has come along in leaps and bounds with his training. He walks nicely on a lead, sits on command and is now learning how to drop (lie down), and do basic stays. Warlock is toilet trained, has picked up crate training very quickly and settled into his foster home’s routine with ease. Warlock would benefit from a family who is committed to continuing his basic training in his new home. Group training classes would be ideal as he would also have the opportunity to socialise while bonding with his new family. Warlock is food motivated and willing to please so it is quite easy to teach him new things.
We are looking for a home where Warlock will be a part of the family and included in the daily activities and outings. He will require a home where there is another friendly doggy companion who can show him the ropes and it would be an added bonus if someone is home more often than not to give him the attention that he deserves. Warlock should be allowed inside to be with the family and will need a warm comfy bed inside to sleep on at night. Oh and don’t forget a spot on the couch where he can enjoy cuddles with you! At this point in time he has not been tested with cats and other pets, but his easy going nature means that he could be trained to live harmoniously with other species.
If you would like to make this lover a part of your family then let us know.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
