About Jasmine
Hi there, I’m Jasmine but my foster family call me Jazz, Jazzyjoo, Jazmadoodle, PixyJazz, Jazzy and lately I get a lot of “oh jasmine do you have to”.
Let me explain, you see I love my furless family so much that whenever they are stationary I feel the need to sit on them. Call it an obsession or compulsion I don’t mind but they are just so cozy when they stop I must curl up on any limb possible.
I have discovered that couch/TV time is great but when furless mum is on the phone O.M.G it’s the best. I can walk on her head, her shoulders, across her lap and the ultimate is squeezing in between the phone and her ear, where all I hear furless mum say is “oh jasmine do you have to”.
My second favorite time for snuggles has to be early in the morning. I’ll sleep on the end of the bed or actually wherever I feel like to be honest, but as soon as my furless mum starts waking up I must sit on her. I know she loves it, especially when I lay on her super long hair. I’m doing her a favor by holding it for her so she doesn’t roll out of bed.
Although I’m only a young lady I’ve never been much for running around crazy like my other kitty siblings. However I will join in a little chase around the house with them and our big Labrador sister. Unlike my fur sister and furless brother I’m not a climber or a bench walker tho I do love a good scratching post to stretch on and sit on to watch the world go by.
Furless mum says I’m very well behaved, so good in fact she lets me chill outside with her in the garden. I love sitting watching her pull weeds or feed the quails or ill curl up in my favorite pot under the cherry tree. I’m not big on adventures and furless mum told me not to climb the fence, so I don’t. Well I did once and the noise of those big metal things with wheels scared me so much I haven’t done that again. I’d much prefer to stay behind those big wooden tall things and catch flies.
Did I mention I LOVE to catch flies! And bugs, beetles, butterflies, spiders and more flies. I really love catching flies but furless mum said I need to stay away from the bees, I don’t know why but she moves me anyway. Furless mum said I was a real scaredy cat when she first became my mum, but now says that I’m all grown up and ready to face the big wide world. I think I’d be better away from furless babies as I do like to snuggle to much but I’m pretty tolerant with kids and other animals. My furless brother is 12 and has autism so I am used to little outbursts and what he calls tics (tourrettes) although sometimes if they get to scary I will tuck myself up in another room until things calm down. I don’t like strangers at first and I will hide when dogs bark, but once I know it’s a friendly visitor I’ll be on their lap or grooming their hair in no time, especially if they have a teddy bear…
I’ll let my furless mum tell you about my obsession with those delicious squishy furry things another time, or just check out my FB page: www.facebook.com/jasminethefosterkitten
– My furless mum said if you’re patient and kind I will be yours till the end of time.
Love Jazz
