About Lexa
Delaroche just kiss me "lexa"
sire: ch hun gr ch sr bergerac faust jhch ojch, hshch, hch (imp hun) hd-a
dam: ch murrybel darque nikata (hips: 3:3)
lexa is bred by de la roche belgians in adelaide, however as has been rescued from the act. Lexa is a happy, calm and confident girl. She is great with people and gets along well with other dogs. Lexa has had some basic obedience training. At her first rescue foster home in sydney she was put in a pen and she dug her way out, so she can be an escape artist. . . Since she has been at happypaws haven in grafton, during the day she is out in the run with the other young dogs at the shelter. Each morning she waits at the gate of the home yard to go to play with them all. It is as if she is learning to be a puppy again, as the rest of the gang are between 8-12 months. She needs company so needs to be in a home with people who are home most of the time and need a real companion dog. She also needs to be in a home where there is another dog to play with. Lexa has a real problem with fireworks and sudden noise such as car backfiring or a gun shot so should not be left at home a lone when fireworks can be heard. We are working on this to desensitise her. She sleeps in the house beside the bed on a dog mat and is as good as gold until morning. She is fine to eat with other dogs if everyone has their own bowl. She does not like to share a bone but she is not a bone hog either. She is desexed, micro-chipped and immunised
