About Dozer
Dozer is our miracle dog. Six months ago he sustained a severe scalding burn injury. 25% of his body was severely burned. A local family took him in and tried to care for him as best they could. Finally a visiting health professional negotiated to bring him to us.
6 months later he is fit and well. His burns have healed, and he is a big cuddly beautiful fellow who loves his walks, loves to play with his dog mates and his toys.
We are so proud of Dozer, who has the most amazing loving and forgiving nature. He really just wants to get on and enjoy life and be part of a beautiful family. We just love him to bits and want the very best for him.
Because of his special circumstances, we would consider foster or foster with a view to adoption. We are prepared to ship Dozer to the right home interstate.
Medical notes
Partial thickness healed burns over his back and sides of his torso, where the skin is still thin and needs protection with a light T-shirt from sun and bumps and scrapes. Otherwise fit and well.
Adoption details
We request that prospective adopters email us with an initial enquiry. We will forward an application form. On receipt of the application form, we will make phone contact to discuss the adoption. We try hard to match the dog to the person, ultimately looking for the best fit for the dog. Shipping fees may or may not be included in the adoption fee. This can be negotiated.
