About Kiki ~ stunning 2yo Mastiff x (On Trial 9/5/17)
Kiki is a gorgeous 2 year old Mastiff X girl who has the most gentle and caring temperament.
Kiki is a pretty girl – she puts her eyeliner on every morning and she has a beautiful smile. She loves people and is very affectionate, but not too excited or jumpy. She can be gentle with young kids but, like all dogs, she should always be supervised around children. Due to her medium-large size, she may be best with older children.
Kiki gets along well with other dogs, but doesn’t mind too much being an only dog so long as she can spend time with you. Kiki would like to be an inside dog so she can be near you - she would not like to be left outside. We are not sure how she would go with cats or pocket pets. She has been known to chase the odd butterfly in the yard.
Kiki is a good girl inside and always lets you know when she needs to go out to the toilet. She is still quite young, but she is a very quick learner and wants to please. She is very intelligent and she knows when she is being naughty. She doesn’t generally bark when people go past her yard, but she will let you know if she thinks someone is up to no good. She hasn't shown much interest in escaping, but she can jump so she will need secure, high fencing.
Kiki’s ideal home would be an active family who would take her for regular walks and adventures and make her a part of the family. She loves to spend time with you and is often happy just relaxing with you. She loves playing with toys or balls, but most of all she loves cuddles.
Kiki would like to be a loving and loyal family member. Could she be the girl for you?

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
