About Bruce - German Shepherd (On Trial 26/12/16)
Meet beautiful Bruce, Bruce is a 5 year old German Shepherd Dog.
Bruce is a true gentleman; he doesn't jump, dig or bark, he is very gentle with children and good
on lead.
Bruce also has impeccable manners, Bruce sits and waits for his dinner and also waits at the door until he is invited in. He is a people pleaser; he just loves human attention and affection.
Bruce doesn't seem overly excited about fetch or tug of war, he'd rather just sit quietly after a walk and have an ear scratch. Bruce is a bit of a lazy bones and loves to relax and lap up some pats and cuddles.
Bruce is house trained and travels well in the car
Bruce would be best suited to a home with no cats or small dogs and a quiet friend similar in size as he gets intimidated by large boisterous dogs.
This beautiful boy will be your best friend forever, he is just hoping for a second chance and place to call his own.
For more information or to meet Bruce, please contact his foster carer Kat on 0415 449 053 or email katlewis1987@gmail.com. Bruce is in foster care in Maitland, NSW and is available for adoption interstate.
Bruce's adoption fee is $350 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
