Hi, my name is Sarge & I am looking for my foster or forever home!

A bit about me: I have a sweet and loyal disposition and am currently living with another German Shepherd, though I haven't yet met cats or young children. I am full of beans and do need a carer who will provide lots of exercise and mental stimulation to keep my active mind & body busy.

I have quickly learned my house manners, I just need a little reminding sometimes. I can sit, shake hands, lie down and play dead and I am pretty good at waiting now, too. I am very happy to play tug/with my ball as long as you play with me, but also like to lay at your feet and watch a good movie occasionally as well.

My foster parents have said I am a good watch dog; I will alert you if someone is coming to the door before you even hear them. I am a strong boy and love sniffing everything when going on walks, but I especially enjoy when I can run to my hearts content!

What I like: I love playing with my ball and a good game of tug of war if you play with me (I am still learning to play by myself)! I like being your shadow and to know where you are. I also sleep better knowing you are close to me. I really enjoy car rides and sticking my head out to feel the breeze on my face.

What I don't like: I am not a big fan of the hose pipe, but am learning that water can be fun!
