“Molly”, Brown-Eyed Girl. Melbourne

There are many dogs called Molly, but only one that’s me! I’m a brown-eyed brindle greyhound – very sweet, as you can see! I love to go for daily walks, and also love to play, but chilling on my bed is how I mostly spend my day. I don’t care much for other dogs, but love my humans dearly. I’ll need humans who are always home – or if not, very nearly! I get so sad when they go out, it nearly breaks my heart. A doggy friend might also help me cope when we’re apart.

But don’t think I’m a nuisance, because I’m really very good. I know where I’m allowed to go, and sleep just where I should. I admit I stole a cookie once, but my carers took it well. They said it was a good sign, that I’m coming out of my shell! It’s true I’m still quite timid - the world’s a bewildering place. But with patient, loving humans, there’ll be nothing I can’t face! I’m still quite scared of little dogs, and even scared of cats. With time, I might get on with them. I’m also fond of pats.

I love to play with toys – most of all my woolly lamb. Whichever room I’m in, he’s never far from where I am. I also like those soft things - I think ‘slippers’ are their name. My foster mum’s not pleased when I select them for a game! Aside from that, my foster carers say I’m the bees’ knees. If you meet me and you think so too, will you adopt me please?
