About Mac
Hi my name is Mac! I love going for long walks with my foster family, especially to the national park across the road where I can sniff at everything as I am very inquisitive! I also love playing in the backyard with my toys. I am super friendly with my humans and love to cuddle with you. I know some people are not sure about me because I’m a bigger boy, but really, that just means there is more of me to cuddle!
I’m also super well-behaved and don’t jump up or make a mess in the house. My foster parents say I am very obedient and extremely trainable (which I think is a good thing!). They also say I’ve matured a lot since being in foster care, and I’ve really found myself and settled in their care. I currently have someone home with me most of the day, and I would love to have my human home with me more often then not.
I haven’t met many dogs, but so far, I’ve really liked meeting the smaller dogs. The bigger ones are okay, but they can be a bit scary! With more careful introductions and socialisation, I’ll keep growing more confident each day. My foster parents say that I can get a bit over-excited to meet the other dogs, but that I’m so trainable, they know I’ll get better with each positive interaction.
