About Italus
Gorgeous inside and out!
Italus has a stunning merle coat that gets everyone’s attention and makes him unique and striking. But the best part is that he has an absolutely awesome nature and personality to match his good looks. Italus is your ultimate loyal companion. He follows his foster carer around the house and forms a strong connection with his people. This boy is as sweet as pie and loves to cuddle up with you for pats and snuggle time. Italus also loves to give and receive affection, and he gives you the best and softest puppy eyes you have ever seen.
The other side of Italus is fun and playful. He loves to play with toys and will happily chase balls or other toys around the yard, and he will get stuck into a fun game of tug of war with you. Italus has been very well socialised during his time in care. He has met a range of other dogs and puppies. He thoroughly enjoys playing with his puppy friends, and adores the resident adult dog in his foster home. Italus is also very respectful and well mannered around the adult dogs so they don’t find him annoying like other puppies.
During his time in care, Italus has begun basic training. He is a smart and responsive puppy who could excel in training with the right teacher. Italus has learnt how to sit on command and walk nicely on a lead. He follows his foster carer in the front yard and at the off-lead dog park where he displays good recall. It is very important that his new family are committed to continuing his training as he is still young and will have much more to learn in life. Italus is crate trained and sleeps peacefully throughout the night without the need to toilet. He is also progressing well with his toilet training and knows to use puppy pads in the house.
We are looking for a home with large breed experience & where Italus will be a part of the family and included in the daily activities or outings. He will require daily exercise to keep him healthy and happy. Italus will need another dog for company and/or someone home more often than not so that he can get the attention that he loves. He should be allowed inside the home to be with the family and will require a warm comfy bed inside to sleep on at night out of the weather. At this stage he has had little exposure to pets which are not of the canine variety but with the appropriate training there should be no issue with him being able to share his home with other pets.
If you would like Italus to be your new best friend then let us know.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
