Meet Diesel - a sweet, mature gentleman with a nature as soft as a marshmallow.
This fellow has not had the best life so far and is looking for that special family to enjoy the rest of his years with.
During foster care, he has been exposed to a myriad of situations - the beach, the local petstore for hydrobaths (in which he stands patiently from start to finish), trips to the vet surgery and the local dog park, and in all situations has been extremely well mannered.
Diesel walks beautifully on a lead, and when off lead sticks to you like glue. He is so comfortable riding in the car that if given the opportunity, will simply fall asleep.
He also has excellent manners when spending time inside, is fully toilet trained and is just so eager to please.
He is known to lovingly rub his head on your tummy in greeting and despite the neglect previously inflicted on him, this boy is oh so gentle, and gets along with all walks of life.
When he is spending time with the human in his life, this boy is happiest the most.

Safe Haven Animal Rescue Inc have a 10 day trial/settling period, if for any reason the pet needs to be returned, we will happily take them back into our care once a foster home is found and the adoption fee minus $50 (admin fee) will be returned via bank transfer within 5 working days. If the pet is returned after the trial period there will be no refund made.
Harvey Dog Training supports SHARI and has kindly offered to provide our adopted animals 30% off training/obedience classes. If you are keen to enrol your new puppy/dog please mention this in your email to us!
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption application must be filled out prior to the meet and greet with the animal.
2. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer. You must bring your dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption.
3. The animal must not be taken on the day unless prior arranged (travelling over a 2 hr round trip). If prior arrangement is made, an adoption agreement/s and payment details will be given, this can take 2-3 days to finalize before the meet & greet so please give time.
4. 10 day trial period commences
5. Adoption is finalized after 14 days and paperwork is sent via email.
