Panda was named by the police officer who took him on his first car ride as a very young pup. He thinks he is now a police officer and tries to make sure his brother Plato behaves. Panda loves a tussle in the grass with his brother and loves to play with a tennis ball. Ok, he really just likes to chew the tennis ball as he hasn't got quite got the chase and return down yet, but he would love a wonderful family to teach him. Panda loves to chew and gnaw on raw fresh bones his favourites are beef and chicken but he really isn't fussy.
Panda loves cuddles and if you pick him up he will lay with you until hungry or nature calls or its playtime. Panda is working hard on toilet training but still has accidents because he is still a baby really. One thing that Panda is excellent at is sitting. He knows to sit for a treat and normally sits before eating and Panda will come when called except if he's asleep. Accomplished at getting a bath I think Panda might enjoy swimming with his new family as he gets older. Panda has been living with deaf dogs so he doesn't react and bark at things and reacted to our summer storms with lightening and thunder like a trooper (or should I say didn't react).
Panda really really wants someone to love him and care for him forever.

Safe Haven Animal Rescue Inc have a 10 day trial/settling period, if for any reason the pet needs to be returned, we will happily take them back into our care once a foster home is found and the adoption fee minus $50 (admin fee) will be returned via bank transfer within 5 working days. If the pet is returned after the trial period there will be no refund made.
Harvey Dog Training supports SHARI and has kindly offered to provide our adopted animals 30% off training/obedience classes. If you are keen to enrol your new puppy/dog please mention this in your email to us!
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption application must be filled out prior to the meet and greet with the animal.
2. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer. You must bring your dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption.
3. The animal must not be taken on the day unless prior arranged (travelling over a 2 hr round trip). If prior arrangement is made, an adoption agreement/s and payment details will be given, this can take 2-3 days to finalize before the meet & greet so please give time.
4. 10 day trial period commences
5. Adoption is finalized after 14 days and paperwork is sent via email.
