About Milo ~ 5yo Blue English Staffy (adopted 22/2/17)
Milo is a stunning, energetic 5 year old Blue English Staffy girl. Milo is a real snuggle bunny, loves cuddles and affection and she is very laid back.
Milo would love to be part of a family where she can be an indoor/outdoor dog and be involved in her family's adventures. She would also do best in a family where she is the only dog and the centre of attention.
Milo is very gentle with people and kids of all ages, but she would suit a family with older children best as she may inadvertently knock small ones over. We are unsure how she would go with pocket pets, cats, chickens, rabbits, etc.
Milo needs to be walked at least once a day and walks well on the lead. She travels well in the car and she LOVES water and her kong.
Milo is housetrained and is able to use a doggy door with ease. She may have accidents initially until she works everything out in her new house. Milo understands basic commands such as sit, stay and waits for her food. She will need to continue to be trained and socialised by her new family.
For more information or to meet Milo, please contact her foster carer Ben on 0423 908 669 or email benmurdoch62@gmail.com. Milo is in foster care in the Newcastle area, NSW (north of Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Milo's adoption fee is $350 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
