About Nate ~ On Trial 31/12/2016
Nate is a playful 7 months old, male, kelpie. He is in need of a great home with another dog – big or small, he loves them all. Nate is great with kids, as long as they don’t mind getting their faces licked. His favourite place is the dog park and he loves wrestling with his foster sister at home. He’s an affectionate boy, who has so much love to give. He’s the most social and confident puppy I’ve ever met.
Nate is happy to sleep in his dog bed but loves a cuddle in our bed as well. He needs to be allowed to spend some time inside with his family. Nate has learnt to sit, shake hands, he is great walking on the lead and has almost perfect recall to his name when he is off leash at the beach.
Nate needs someone that has the time to continue training him. He is a smart boy who is eager to learn. He loves to chew on bones. His perfect family would have a yard with 6 foot fences all round, another dog for company and an active family or person that will happily take him out to the dog park and on nice walks.
For more information or to meet Nate, please contact his foster carer Talia on 0438 343 438 or email talia.guise@hotmail.com. Nate is in foster care in Berkeley Vale, NSW (near Tuggerah on the Central Coast) and is available for adoption interstate.
Nate's adoption fee is $450 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
