Sammy

Hi everyone!

My name is Sammy and I loooove humans. I am a bright, happy girl who was rescued from death row. I am quick to learn new things, and toys make me happy. I love balls and rope toys especially!

I come to my name and pick up new things very quickly. I sit and shake on command and get along with most other dogs. I am a bossy girl so I like it if the other dogs I have to live with are happy for me to be in charge.

I have medium energy levels so definitely want to be walked each day with the odd park trip or off leash run thrown in. I haven't been to water yet but my carers hope to introduce me to a creek soon!

I am food orientated and just want to please. I will sit quietly when told, and am happy to sleep inside or out however I do prefer to be inside of the home.

I currently have a large yard to play in, with 1.2m fences which I don't jump. I also loooove my sandpit!! An easy way to let me burn some energy and have fun digging would be to buy a clamshell pool ($14 roughly at Bunnings) and fill one side with water and one side with sand and bury toys or treats there. Then I can dig happily without damaging your yard. It is natural for dogs to dig and the smile I get when I can bury my bones etc is infectious!

I adore my humans and will spend my time sitting and gazing lovingly at your feet. I am a funny and sweet girl and my whole body wags along with my tail. Come and meet me- you won't be able to leave without me!
