About Malo DL1512
Malo is a large strong dog but he is very gentle and to a point even somewhat timid. He rarely barks unless someone else starts barking first. He doesn’t display a lot of self-confidence and sometimes cowers when startled or if he hears raised voices (even cheering a sports team on the TV). Once he settles in more that will ease up.
He loves being around people. He doesn’t jump on people or hang around waiting for food at the dinner table although he likes to eat, a lot. He is happy to be patted and stroked by anyone including children. He doesn’t react adversely to being washed and having his underside or under his tail washed although he likes to lean on the side of the tub… he actually likes to lean on people, walls, anything really.
Malo loves to go for walks and loves to run and bound about freely when he gets the chance. He will come when called and has learned to sit and lay down (on his bed mainly). He is very loving and loves to snuggle on the bed with the rest of the family – he takes up most of a king size bed! He is very inquisitive and likes wandering around finding new things and is often found wandering around the vegie garden watching the birds or puzzling over the pool.
The home Malo goes to needs to be very inclusive and treat him like one of the family. He won’t like being left outside at all as he loves being with “his humans” and receiving loads of love and affection from them.
If you'd like to meet the lovable Malo, please contact by email to apply.
