About Teddy ~ Wolfhound X boy (On Trial 15/12/16))
Teddy is a 13 month old Wolfhound X boy - he is THE perfect dog, and I’m not just saying that! Teddy is house trained, great with children and other dog. He likes travelling in the car, eats practically everything you put in front of him, is affectionate and super friendly. He loves to run around and play with other dogs. While he is a tall boy, he’s quite lean and is all legs!
Teddy enjoys his daily walks and walks well on a harness and lead. He already knows the basics such as "sit", "stay", "come" and "lay down" and is a very quick learner. He is fully house trained and hasn’t has an accident since being in foster care. He will stand at the door if he needs to go outside.
The only time he’s been heard barking is when he is playing with his foster brother and sister. He doesn't bark when the neighbours dogs bark. He’s shown no interest in jumping the fence to get to neighbouring dogs or go exploring.
Teddy loves to be inside with his humans and is very good indoors and will just curl up and go to sleep. He can let out a puppy howl if left alone outside for what he feels is too long. He is an inside/outside dog and needs to be allowed inside time with his people each day.
Being the social butterfly that he is, Teddy would be best suited to a home where he has another doggie playmate or one where his humans are home a lot.
If you think you could offer Teddy a loving, affectionate, active and happy forever home, please contact his foster carer Amanda by email amandalloyd83@hotmail.com. Teddy is located in Charlestown NSW (Lake Macquarie, south of Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Teddy's adoption fee is $350 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
