About Helena
Helena arrived with her litter at the end of 2013. They were found at the back of a garage where Helena had gone into for safety and to have her kittens. The people who found her had dogs and were frightened for her. They asked around the neighbourhood to see if anyone was missing their cat back no one came forward so brought them out to Happy Paws Haven. All her kittens have found homes. Helena is a lovely affectionate but is a little bit shy but is happy to have a cuddle if in the offering. She has been immunised, micro chipped and de-sexed, and regularly treated for worms and fleas.
Adoption details
HappyPaws Haven is fussy about who adopts these animals and where they are housed and cared for. The adoption criteria is documented as a questionnaire and strictly adhered to. We do not adopt animals to people who rent unless they are long term rental at the same address and have landlords written permission.
We ask if they have thought about the attributes they want in a dog, lifestyle, childrens ages, prepared to train, etc. We also talk about responsible pet ownership, \ fully fenced yards, hours unattended etc. and finally a vet reference.
