Well hi there. I'm Tessa and I'm a gal on a mission to find a furever family of my very own!

I'm a biggish girl already and I'm only going to get bigger from here but with big paws comes a big heart full of love to give. Besides, that means there's more of me to love and give lots of pats, which I have to say I adore and take very willingly. Despite my size I like to think that I'm a lap dog - I mean I can fit on your lap (if I try) and I'm a dog!

I have a very fun loving and playful personality - there's not much I'd rather do than play all day long with my fur sister, my toys and even the hose. I am a total water baby, and I spend a lot of time splashing in my paddle pool and try to catch the water from the hose. I’m sure I'd love the beach too, but I'll have to wait for now as I haven't had all of my vaccinations just yet so I can't leave the house for now. I love a good game of fetch and will even bring the toy back for you as I love to please people and hanging with them is my favourite pastime.

My foster mum says manners make a good impression when trying to find a furever family so I've been working hard to learn everything there is to know about obedience. I already know 'sit' and I will come when called (why wouldn't I, hanging out with people is one of my favourite things to do!). I'm currently working on 'drop' and 'wait' and I am fully toilet and crate trained already!! I even know not to get up on the couch even though I would REALLY love to be closer to you.

Along with my doggy friend, I also live with two cats who I find pretty interesting. I like to go up to them and give them a sniff to say hello but I know to give them personal space and will come away when called.
