About Merilyn
Merilyn, Merlin and their sister were found in a box by a lovely lady up on the range near the Gibraltar National park. She was not able to keep them herself as they were so young. We had them vet checked, vaccinated, deflead and wormed straight away. They are typical border collie pups full of energy and naughtiness but very loving as border collies are. They have grown into lovely well socialised young pups that have been desexed and microchipped ready for their new homes. One of the girls was snaffled up really quickly. Merlin and Merilyn are lovely young dogs ready for training school and an active family with kids to play with.
Adoption details
HappyPaws Haven is fussy about who adopts these animals and where they are housed and cared for. The adoption criteria is documented as a questionnaire and strictly adhered to. We do not adopt animals to people who rent unless they are long term rental at the same address and have landlords written permission.
We ask if they have thought about the attributes they want in a dog, lifestyle, childrens ages, prepared to train, etc. We also talk about responsible pet ownership, \ fully fenced yards, hours unattended etc. and finally a vet reference.
