About Pauline
Please say hello to Pauline.
This lovely girl is looking for a wonderful home where she can continue to develop her confidence and receive lots of love and affection. She is a little shy with new people but is quite calm and listens well.
Pauline is a little unsure of being picked up but if you sit down you will have a very bouncy girl who will make every attempt to climb on you for cuddles. She is currently living in a home with young children and although she enjoys their company she would best suit a home with older children. She can be quite head strong at time and will not respect their boundaries. Children should always understand that dogs need their personal space and we will always recommend supervision with any dog in your home. A strong leader will help her understand there are different rules with each member of the family.
She loves to play and run so will require a good size yard where she will have plenty of room to stretch her legs as she grows.
Daily walks will be important to continue Pauline's socialisation and to provide her with plenty of exercise. It is also a great way to continue developing her confidence in new surroundings. She walks well on lead and will listen to her carer for reassurance. She can get a little spooked by certain movements and will shy away at cars going past. She has come a long way and her carers is constantly noticing her reactions improving with more exposure to these situations.
Pauline has become very confident and social with other dogs and will initiate playtime with them. We are looking to find Pauline a home where she will spend her days with a desexed male companion to teach her all about life and the fun that they can share together.
A HOME WITH A FEMALE DOG WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED TO DUE DOMINANCE ISSUES THAT CAN OCCUR AS PAULINE MATURES.
Pauline enjoys her trips in the car but considering all her recent moves she does become a bit unsure of where she is heading next. Once she learns that she is safe with her new family she will grow to understand that the car means exciting things are ahead.
In her current foster home she gets to spend time indoors and outdoors but is offered a comfortable bed inside overnight to help her feel protected.
She will need to be shown patience with her toilet training. She is still trying to figure it out. She forgets to ask to go outside when she needs to but we believe once she figures this out she will improve very quickly.
Pauline is currently living with a large variety of animals. She gets along great with the resident dogs, has been ok with the cats but kittens and smaller animals such as chooks, rabbits and guinea pigs are too much of a temptation for her so she will be looking for a home with a doggy pal but no smaller pets.
If you would like to know more about Pauline or believe you have the perfect lifestyle for her please contact us and we will reply shortly.
Pauline is currently in Ballarat, VIC
Medical notes
Pauline will be due for another vaccination in 1 months time to ensure complete protection. She has been regularly flead and wormed while she has been in our care
Adoption details
If you think one of our animals would be a good match for your home please email us and we will be in touch shortly after. We all work fulltime, have families and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require any other dogs in your home meeting our foster animal before they head home with you. This enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care, this is a condition of our Adoptions.
