About Pixie
What can I say about my little Pixie that I haven't said about her two sisters....She is the smallest (not by very much) but she makes up for it by being feisty. Not with humans but she is not above telling her sisters where to go!! Pixie is only going to be a small dog and would be better with slightly older children or thos trained children who know how to pick up a puppy. She is so little she can be easily mistaken for a toy! She is happy, playful and loves to dig. She will most likely trash the garden if left alone outside but she is so cute its hard to rouse. Of course she would benefit from some training and this will help her redirect her enthusiasm! The three sisters came into care as an unplanned litter but mum is now desexed and there will not be any more. Pixie will be ready to go after 13th December. NOT BEFORE! Please complete an application as an expression of interest.
Adoption details
Firstly you will need to complete an application with your name and address and contact details for the microchip records. Our online application form is available on our website http://www.radarescue.org/online-application-form
Or an application form can be requested by using the Email Carer feature on the pet's listing.
Please note that while we consider all applications in the order in which we receive them, our animals are not adopted out on a first come, first served basis. Our objective is to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable ‘forever’ home available to meet the animal's (and the person’s) characteristics and needs.
The final decision about which new home the animal goes to is made by the foster carer based on their knowledge and understanding of the potential home and the personality of the individual animal. Sometimes it may take several enquiries before you find the right RADAR furry friend for you!
We will need a non-refundable holding deposit of $50 minimum to hold a pet for you whilst awaiting everything to be finalised, however this amount is deducted from the adoption fee.
RADAR expects full payment on exchange of the pet or prior to it leaving on transport.
RADAR expects you to be responsible for transport costs. We can help source appropriate transport options or help find accommodation if you need to travel and stay overnight.
It is understood that if all goes wrong that you can return the pet safely and unharmed to RADAR for a full refund within one week of the adoption.
