About Daisy
Beautiful little Daisy has just landed back in care after spending the first 7 weeks of her life with a bottle raiser. Unfortunately, Daisy and her 2 siblings were found under a local class room. Her mother had abandoned them, and was later found deceased mere meters away. This poor girl didn't have a great start to life.
Lucky for her, a RADAR carer was contacted by a concerned teacher, and we were able to get the 3 kittens in to care immediately.
Daisy is now approximately 8 weeks old and will be looking for a local home soon. She is extremely affectionate (as most bottle babies are!) and has been raised around cats and dogs of all shapes and sizes. She is a tortoiseshell and white kitten, however she is mostly black and has very little ginger to her torso.
Daisy has visited a local nursing home from an early age with her bottle raiser, so she is well socialized with people.
Medical notes
Daisy can only go to a local home where she can be returned to our participating vet for desexing when she is older.
We are currently only taking Expressions of Interest in her.
Adoption details
Firstly you will need to complete an application with your name and address and contact details for the microchip records. Our online application form is available on our website http://www.radarescue.org/online-application-form
Or an application form can be requested by using the Email Carer feature on the pet's listing.
Please note that while we consider all applications in the order in which we receive them, our animals are not adopted out on a first come, first served basis. Our objective is to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable ‘forever’ home available to meet the animal's (and the person’s) characteristics and needs.
The final decision about which new home the animal goes to is made by the foster carer based on their knowledge and understanding of the potential home and the personality of the individual animal. Sometimes it may take several enquiries before you find the right RADAR furry friend for you!
We will need a non-refundable holding deposit of $50 minimum to hold a pet for you whilst awaiting everything to be finalised, however this amount is deducted from the adoption fee.
RADAR expects full payment on exchange of the pet or prior to it leaving on transport.
RADAR expects you to be responsible for transport costs. We can help source appropriate transport options or help find accommodation if you need to travel and stay overnight.
It is understood that if all goes wrong that you can return the pet safely and unharmed to RADAR for a full refund within one week of the adoption.
