About Smiley ~ 7yo Lab x Staffy girl (on trial 16/12/16)
Meet Smiley! She's a 7 year old Lab x Staffy girl who is absolutely stunning. Smiley is a medium to large size dog and she would be great in a family situation as she is the most friendly and beautiful natured girl. She can get a little excitable, but not overly and she doesn't jump up. She has previously been living with young children and was fine with them (though all dogs should be properly supervised when with children).
Smiley loves to go for walks and she is a good girl on the lead. She loves to play games and have fun, but she also loves quiet time and is happy just chilling. Smiley is such a great, friendly and well-mannered girl.
Smiley is ok with other dogs (preferably dogs her size), but is happy being an only dog. We are not sure how she would go with cats or pocket pets. She currently sleeps outside, but has been a good girl when she was allowed inside.
Smiley is looking for somewhere to call home, a nice family to love her and take her on adventures with them. What a lucky family that will be!
For more information or to meet Smiley, please contact her foster carer Robyn on 0431 690 987 or email R.L.M@bigpond.com.au. Smiley is in foster care in Medowie, NSW (north of Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Smiley's adoption fee is $200 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
