About Milly ~ Jack Russell ~ senior (On Trial 3/12/16)
Milly is a gorgeous female Jack Russell approximately 8 years old. She is very well socialized with other dogs living happily with many others of all ages and sizes.
Milly is a quiet girl who loves to go for her daily walk, to have short plays and then happily curl up on her bed and snooze.
Milly adores the interaction with people and you will find her by your side wherever you go so she needs to be an inside dog to be part of the family. She is a real sook and loves to sit with you watching television and roll over for that belly rub that she so looks forward to. She will need to sleep inside on a nice dog bed or curled up next to you if permitted exchanging cuddles.
Milly is very intelligent and would learn to use your doggy door quickly if one is installed. She has mastered her toilet training well but will need further guidance when moving into a new household. She very rarely barks, only to let you know if someone is around or the doorbell rings…she will bark to greet you when you arrive home from being out however this is a very happy bark.
Milly would be best suited to a mature single/couple or a family with older children who are home most of the time. She enjoys the company of her humans very much and will make a beautiful companion for someone who needs a new best friend. Ideally Milly would be suitable in a home as an only dog or with another friendly dog to keep her company when her human friends have to go out.
For more information or to meet Milly please phone foster carer Jackie on 0407 807 733. Milly is in foster care in Shoal Bay, NSW (Port Stephens North of Newcastle)
Milly’s adoption fee is only $200 and includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, and microchipping.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
