Howdy, my name is Scout.

I'm a handsome middle aged chap who is on the lookout for my perfect home. I was surrendered to Lort Smith when my humans could no longer care for me.

I'm looking for a family that is experienced with the beagle breed as I have proven to have many of the typical beagle traits that can be a bit off putting for people who are not used to our hound ways! I'd love to get enrolled in dog obedience classes so that I can learn some more manners and show my new family just how smart I can be.
I'm very food motivated, I will do anything for treats and as you might be able to tell from my photo, in my previous home I have over indulged a bit too much.

I love going for walks and scenting all over the neighbourhood, on lead of course! A home with no small animals would be best please.
