About Barney the playful kitten!
Barnacle (we call him Barney) was rescued from a house in the northern suburbs, he and his mum Millicent had been struggling on the streets. A kind person started feeding them and won their trust, and was able to catch them and bring them in to care.
Barney is 12 weeks old, affectionate, very playful and quite cheeky. He’s into everything, wants to do everything with you and when he’s worn himself out attacking the christmas tree and climbing the furniture, he will crawl into your lap for a cuddle. His markings are very pretty with a half tabby M on his forehead, and the tendency to wink at you when you least expect it.
Barney is very cat and people friendly, we think he’d make an excellent family pet and would be good with kids who are good with animals. Barney hasn’t been tested with dogs but he’s very confident little tomcat and would do well with a cat friendly dog if the introduction was done carefully.
Medical notes
Barney is in excellent health, he eats wet food and uses his litter tray. He will be ready to adopt from 21st November, you could take him home this weekend! Barney’s adoption fee is $250 which includes flea treatments, worming, 1st and 2nd vaccinations, desexing and microchipping.
