About "Joe". Not Your Average. Melbourne
Joe is full of infectious happiness, whether he’s frolicking with his favourite tennis ball (sometimes falling asleep with it in his mouth!), demonstrating one of his hilarious sleeping positions (bum in the air, legs half off the couch), or head-butting his way into a cuddle. The only time he’s unhappy is a little whimper when you touch his ears, or the sore spot on the tip of his tail – reminders that Joe’s life hasn’t always been so good. When he looks at you deep in the eyes, you can tell how special it is for Joe to have humans to love and trust.
Joe knew nothing about being a pet when he came into foster care, but he learnt quickly. He knows how to get on the couch (a greyhound priority), to get out of the kitchen when he’s told, and knows his name. Joe would be happy living with a similarly-sized dog, and is very fond of his greyhound foster brother. Children (six or over) are fine too, but not cats. Joe has plenty of energy for zooming around the house, but is content with a low-key daily walk.
Joe’s exceptionally smoochy, and will lean lovingly on anyone at any opportunity (even when they’re trying to take him for a walk!) This gorgeous boy is not just your average Joe, but a very special dog with a lifetime of happiness to share.
Be the envy of your neighbours when you are seen stepping out with ridiculously handsome Joe.
