About Bitsy
Bitsy is a young adult, we estimate that she's 2-3 years old. She loves to sit in your lap or beside you on the lounge. She's housetrained, walks nicely on lead, and loves to ride in the car - sitting up on the passenger seat with a safety harness, of course!
We don't know why this little darling wound up unclaimed at a rural pound, she's adorable. We have observed that she's afraid of some men - she laid down submissively and peed herself when a male ranger tried to pick her up but she's relaxed and calm with women.
She has met the housecat and wasn't interested in chasing him.
Weight 4.7kg. Low-maintenance coat.
Bitsy is located in WAGGA WAGGA, a five-hour drive from Sydney or Melbourne. The successful applicant will need to collect her from Wagga or pay for airfare interstate.
This pet will come microchipped, but council registration - if required in your state or territory - is not included in the adoption fee.
Adoption details
Our goal is to match pets' personalities and exercise/training requirements with people whose lifestyle they are best suited to. This reduces the chances of the pet winding up in a pound again. Please don't feel offended by our adoption process, it is for everyone's and every animal's benefit:
1. Submit application for adoption (obtain at Best Friends Pet Rescue website).
2. Homechecks are conducted on short-listed approved applicant(s).
3. Best match selected according to the pet's personality and needs.
4. Successful applicant notified, and must place holding deposit while transport/pickup arrangements made.
5. Adoption transaction completed.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
