About Luna ~ 2yo German Shepherd girl (on trial 7/01/16)
Hi, my name is Luna and I’m just under 2 years old. I am a pure bred German Shepherd - my father was a Champion and I have papers with my full pedigree.
I will be a very loyal and loving companion to you if you walk me regularly and take me to the beach sometimes. I have no bad vices - my owner is travelling overseas for work and can’t take me with him. He is very sad about this, but he just wants me to be happy.
I am fully house trained and have excellent manners. Sometimes I get a little nervous around other dogs but soon settle down. I was raised with a cat, but I’m not sure how I would go with pocket pets.
For more information or to meet Luna, please contact Susie on 0419 634 957 or email suemasens65@hotmail.com. Luna is in foster care in the Newcastle area, NSW and is available for adoption interstate.
Luna's adoption fee is $550 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
