Nellie

Nellie is a nearly six month old Kelpie X Border Collie female puppy, who is a beautiful ball of energy. Nellie loves her humans and loves playing with other puppies and dogs. Unfortunately Nellie was brought back to us after what we thought was her forever home at no fault of her own and she will be looking for the perfect person or family to make a 110% commitment to her.

Nellie is experienced with other puppies, older dogs (around five years) and loves to play. She would be best with another dog who she can play with when her human parents are at work. Nellie needs an active individual, couple or family who are going to spend time with her, walk her and interact her with other dogs of all ages.

As Nellie is still a puppy she needs ongoing obedience training, socialising, love and lots of attention. She has learnt the basics of sit and waiting for her food. She walks on the lead, but can get over excited.

Her new owners would have to be willing to take her to puppy preschool and give her the chance to show you what she can do with the right training.

Nellie’s foster carers say she is a very talented and clever girl who is learning as she grows up. Nellie loves her foster carer’s border collie x kelpie boy who is five years old and they swim and play together all the time. Nellie has so many amazing qualities that will make her the perfect companion; intelligence and a loving and playful nature just to name a few. She loves to go for a swim and be inside with her humans.

She sleeps inside at night and has nearly got her house manners perfected.
