About Dejah
From time to time Fresh Start are asked to assist rehoming dogs in genuine need from loving homes.
Dejah is one such girl.
It breaks her owners heart to do so, but she has come to the realisation due to failing health , that she can no longer care for Dejah in the manner to which she is accustomed.
For truly it would be heartbreaking to lose such a wonderful companion, Dejah is just such a perfect girl. All the wonderful traits of a happy Maremma, rolled up into a very loving soul.
We asked Dejah's mum for some words of what her personality is like in order to write a profile , and here is some of what she has said:
All the amazing positives
-sits/stays on command
-very gentle eater will wait patiently to be told it's OK to eat
-no aggression around food or bones
-amazingly patient and gentle with children of all ages loves to play and cuddle and protect
-loves to be inside or outside is very calm and well behaved inside
-loves to go for walks but can be over excited and pull but is still manageable and enjoyable to walk
-I bring my dogs to mums all the time and Dejah is always playful and happy and shows no aggression
-loves her grooming professional or just a brush at home
-eats wet and dry food loves table scraps
-loves to play and fetch
-is always by the 4 yr old granddaughters side protecting and loving her, has never ever shown any sign of being annoyed or aggressive no matter how annoying the 4 yr old can be lol
- she loves to be touching you or close to you (a little bit like a cat) whenever you are sitting down inside or out, she is very very sweet natured and so gentle loving and calm.
