About Emmie
Emmie has come out the other side of a life threatening struggle to give birth to a single oversized pup. Sadly her puppy didn't make it but RADAR stepped in to pay her vet bills and take her into loving care. Emmie is now fully recovered and will soon have her post pregnancy girlie figure back again. She is a bright, happy little soul who would like nothing better than to share every aspect of her owners life. She is very sweet, good with other dogs and cats and great with children too. Emmie can be a little jealous if other dogs are getting too many cuddles and attention but she is happiest inside curled up on the couch. A pocket size bundle of trust and love. Emmie deserves a better life. Can you give her the time she needs?
Medical notes
Emmie has some irritated skin near her tail and she has been receiving treatment with a betadine based cream. That's the yellow patch in the photo.
Adoption details
Firstly you will need to complete an application with your name and address and contact details for the microchip records. Our online application form is available on our website http://www.radarescue.org/online-application-form
Or an application form can be requested by using the Email Carer feature on the pet's listing.
Please note that while we consider all applications in the order in which we receive them, our animals are not adopted out on a first come, first served basis. Our objective is to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable ‘forever’ home available to meet the animal's (and the person’s) characteristics and needs.
The final decision about which new home the animal goes to is made by the foster carer based on their knowledge and understanding of the potential home and the personality of the individual animal. Sometimes it may take several enquiries before you find the right RADAR furry friend for you!
We will need a non-refundable holding deposit of $50 minimum to hold a pet for you whilst awaiting everything to be finalised, however this amount is deducted from the adoption fee.
RADAR expects full payment on exchange of the pet or prior to it leaving on transport.
RADAR expects you to be responsible for transport costs. We can help source appropriate transport options or help find accommodation if you need to travel and stay overnight.
It is understood that if all goes wrong that you can return the pet safely and unharmed to RADAR for a full refund within one week of the adoption.
